Bus Driving Simulation Study
Drivers wanted!



The National Advanced Driving Simulator located at the University Research Park (formerly known as the Oakdale campus), is inviting transit, school or charter bus drivers to participate in a bus driving simulation study.  This study will examine the effects that prescription medicines have on driving performance and involves taking a commonly prescribed dose of an FDA approved medication used for short-term treatment of insomnia.

Who can be a part of this study?

Healthy adults ages 18-65 years of age
Currently employed as a transit, school or charter bus driver
Live within 30 minute drive to University Research Park (formerly Oakdale Campus)
Able to attend 3 study sessions including a next day drive, each session approximately 1-2 weeks apart
Study sessions must be at least 2 days before your next professional drive job
Can be evening or Saturday visits


If you do participate in the study, you will be paid for your time and effort.
